A detailed report summarising the main insights and conclusions of the conference is currently in preparation and will be published here soon.
About the event
From 15 to 17 September 2025, experts, policymakers, and practitioners from across Europe gathered in Brussels to exchange knowledge and experience on how to act against the impact of climate change on health and wellbeing and on how to make our health and care systems more sustainable.
This three-day event, co-organized with the WHO-RHN and the CoR, brought together a wide range of stakeholders to discuss best practices, explore innovative policies, and strengthen collaboration across regions.
Participants attended two plenary sessions and ten thematic workshops, each focusing on a key aspect of climate and health policy implementation. By the end of the event, participants had gained valuable insights and inspiration for developing practical and effective policies in their own regions.
